To maintain consistent quality, seedlings are available for Nursery Pick-Up only. Seedlings will be ready for pickup late June - July. Once they are ready, we will contact you to schedule pickup.
 
Resilient seedlings come from a mother tree at Red Fern Farm, near Wapello, IA, that is a reliable heavy-bearer of large nuts. This tree stood out in 2019 as the only tree out of about 1200, to bear a full, normal crop following an exceptionally cold winter and wet spring.
 
Pot Sizes: Seedlings come in pots that are 4x4 inches square at the top and 9.5 inches tall to allow for excellent root development.
